Vision
Originality Technique ImpactThis is a beautifully colored piece. I must say though, the character seems a little disconnected from the background, almost like you did them in different styles. The color and shading in the background give it a lot of depth. I get the feeling that this is a very large, possibly lonely forest. I am not sure what to make of the character. It seems to be tiger-like I think. I assume that it also has wings. (I don't want to be insulting but I really want to know. Does it have porcupine quills on its back?) I think the character has a lot of feeling in its face but I think it could benefit from a little more shading to give the character more depth and give a good perspective of it's size and define the shape.
