Oh-hoho.

Done for the contest over at ! The contest was to design an original character to fit into the Vesper Facility, so of course I didn't actually do that! . Basically one of my FAVORITE most favorite things to do is take Switchback and allow her to wriggle into other people's headcanons >__>. Like it's probably my most favorite thing ever. So I TOTALLY jumped in on the opportunity for Switchie to play with Linan and Jeckle haha. SO YES I took Switchback and naturalified her up for the occasion! And I actually really like her this way <___<. I might keep this version on as an older version of her or something. This version of her is already older than the Switchback I always draw and talk about. So yes background info omg this might be long AHEM:

So after the events of The Last Aysse _{which I'm resurrecting, like, now. I have way too much ground to cover!}, Switchback ends up having to peruse the Universe with some of her comrades in order to keep the Universe's living beings safe from a particularly nasty group of space-y Aysse called the Celestial Aysse. She does this by having her more powerful friends open up a portal that allows them to dance into an inter-dimensional space where basically everything in the Universe overlaps, and from there they can step out into anywhere in the Universe. Problem is that Switchback doesn't know where to step out, and frequently wanders off from the group like the moron she is, and gets spit out of the inter-dimensional space into literally anywhere in the Universe. She's always subconsciously drawn to places with life energy though, so it's not like she'll step out into the inside of star or something. Sadly <__<. But yes. Because of this, she ends up a lot of completely foreign planets all alone until her friends find her. Which they eventually do, but it can take forever and a day sometimes haha. BUT YES.

So in this instance, she steps out into the Vesper Facility. She's seen other tigers around, but she doesn't trust them. She tends to only hang out with things she feels like she can trust, which is basically only things that she can easily kill if she's wrong. She's the only known maltese tiger in the facility, and she's well aware of this, so she tends to keep to a remote Arboretum way off the main core of the facility. The Arboretum is dark and isolated, but she has a bunch of rat friends there and she likes to hang out with small animals and plants, so it's not the worst for her. She'll lend a helping hand out to anyone who seems like they genuinely need it, but she otherwise likes to keep her distance from the various social systems set up by the other tigers and such. She's idly trying to find a way out, but she's not very good with direction so she'll probably only get out if she's either escorted or rescued haha. She's also older here than my Switchback. My Switchback is like early 20s, and Switchback here is like 30-36ish. She found that gear and wrench drape-y. It likely fell off of one of the Cabal Brotherhood Caduceus, but she thought it was shiny and makes a fun clinky sound when she walks, so it's hers now!

.... tl;dr I wanted a canon excuse to draw Switchback with Moonsong's characters <__< *shot*
